Blue Nassellaria ring
This ring was inspired by a CNRS photograph of a phytoplankton of the nassellaria category, marine protists belonging to the Radiolaria lineage. Their skeletons are made of silica. They are considered extremely valuable in micro-paleontological studies for paleo-environmental reconstruction.
Materials: green tourmaline cabochon, sapphires and tsavorites, 18k recycled gold and silver, lacquer
